FIFA president Blatter to tell us tomorrow how we can avoid further dangers
Sepp Blatter says at tomorrow’s FIFA congress he will explain how to right all the wrongs that have engulfed the sport in recent times.
The FIFA president, who will run solo in the presidential election after Asian Football Confederations boss Mohamed Bin Hammam withdrew following his suspension amidst bribery allegations, has denied there is any crisis within his organization.
He has revealed that tomorrow will be the day that he shares how FIFA can clear the mud away that is beginning to stick.
“I thought we were living in a world of fair play and respect and discipline, and I unfortunately see this is no longer the case because the famous Fifa pyramid is suddenly unstable and there is a danger,” he said.
“Tomorrow dear friends at the opening of the congress’s agenda I will speak to you on this danger that is lurking, and tell you how we can fight and work against this threat to make sure this universal sport will play its role to bring people together in the future.”
